A transdisciplinary and antidisciplinary web weaver, Joy received a specific, long-term vision in 2017 called, "SoulFire Center for Civic Alchemy with Network of Satellite Sanctuaries."  Intended to serve people of place and purpose, it guided a "future of work" deliberately designed to honor Wholeness and, align sacred life force energies in support of everyone's Genius and Well-Being.

Under this cultural and economic paradigm-shifting vision, the field of “Cultural Paramedicine” was born.  Joy recognized it as the "big tent" for unifying both existing and emergent care work undertaken by those who recognize themselves as serving essential needs for collective evolution more than the optimization of individual self-interest.

Joy's own contributions as a “Cultural Paramedic” toward healing collective wounding to human Awareness, Affiliation and Agency include working with others in the:
